Mia is an ARC DECRA fellow at Deakin University, working on a transnational oral history with women and minority veterans from the War on Terror. If you have pitches or ideas for essays, briefing papers, or opinion pieces, send them her way!

Geraldine is a Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University, working on a social history of the Howard years. She will be running the Bookshelf, so get in touch if you have a book you’d like to review or to have featured.

We are grateful for the leadership of Professor David Lowe and Associate Professor Carolyn Holbrook over the past (almost) ten years and excited for this new chapter, including new initiatives to lead public conversations about the history of ongoing crises, understand how the past is being used and abused in the present moment, and foster dialogue between historians, activists, policymakers, and the public.

More coming soon. Watch this space!
